Carnival in Germany :)

Hi there :)

I´ve got a few photos for you!! It´s carnival time at the moment in Germany....I LOVE Carnival!! I thought maybe you wanna see some photos, because you don´t have carnival in Oz.
We had a carnival party at my Kindy on Thursday as well. Every child was dressed up. We had Policemen, LOTS of fairys in pink dresses and crowns, cowboys, knights, Pippi Longstockings, Spidermen and so on. It was very funny!!

When I was a child...I used to dress up as Pippi Longstocking (we coloured my hair and plaited them and put wire?! in my hair to get my hair like Pippi has them) or I dressed up as a clown (very often) or as an American Indian Women.

She´s a very funny comedian from Germany, she´s always dressed up with her wig?! (is that the word for her hair?!), her crown and her jogging suit. Her comedian-name is "Cindy aus Marzahn"

I don´t know if you can see the pillow under my shirt, because she isn´t the slimmest or most slim?! person.

There are also lots of parads everywhere in Germany, where they have tractors with their BIG trailers. Every waggon has loud (carnival)music on. So it´s a big party on the streets ;-). They aren´t every day ;-) Only a few during the carnival time...there´s always one in my village, that´s the parade, where I took these photos. Every waggon has lots of sweets for the kids which they throw on the street. All the children are always waiting with plastic bags and collecting all the sweets from the street ;-)!!
